Autism Brothers Books 💙: Cappadocia Book Published
Thank You For Your Support and Encouragement
🎨 Welcome
My new Cappadocia book is officially published…and I want to say thank you - to everyone who supported and encouraged me along the journey toward this moment of celebration. Mil gracias!
I’ve learned so much from the process of creating this book. Technically - my skills have improved. I made a big leap somewhere amid the frustration of trying to get my vision and the paintings to match. I feel more confident in my drawing and layering skills going forward. This is kind of a big deal because I feel like I’ve been plateaued out in this area for several years.
I also learned more about how to better balance my creative goals and the realities of my everyday life living in a foreign country with two young Autistic sons. Plus all the other responsibilities that come with this new life situation.
Balance and…slow but steady…creative progress, with small bursts of the inevitable bits of ‘all day dots’ extravaganzas - that’s the goal. I get more done in the long run that way.
What happens next?
The manuscript is for sale up on Amazon in North America. I had this (slightly smaller) version printed here at a stationary shop to help me visualize the book proof. Isn’t it cute? No sales in Turkiye yet.
If you pledged to my Kickstarter project a few months back, your rewards (books) will be sent out this coming week. I’ll update here again once all rewards are sent so you can know when to look for them in the mail.

I’m working on a small book launch event - that’s coming up soon. Until then, I’m excited to have the paintings printed on canvas at my local shop here in Ankara and put them up in my studio. I’ll post photos once the canvases are all complete. I’m really looking forward to having a Cappadocia wall in my art studio.
And some dancing in the living room. I think I will do some dancing to celebrate.
However you celebrate your big creative milestones…I’m sending love to you. Keep going. 🌿
Good journey,
