Autism Brothers Books 💙: Turkish Translation
Introducing My Turkish Language Consultant
🎨 Welcome
Making my new Cappadocia book bilingual was important to me. My boys are Turkish-American and they speak both Turkish and English, so I wanted to be sure to make their special book bilingual.
To do this, I first wrote the English story. Then I translated it in Google Translate. I am learning and studying Turkish, so I could read most of the individual words to tell they were close to being correct. But my Turkish isn’t advanced enough to catch the nuances of the language - not even close.
I am so grateful to my friend and colleague, Helin, for being my Turkish language consultant for this book. She did an amazing job fixing my Turkish and now the story is ready to read in both languages.
Whichever language you love to create with - I’m sending love to you. Keep going. 🌿
Good journey,

Good morning, Emily! I can’t remember if I told you I love your beautiful book, but I do. I have a friend whose autistic son is 40 years old. We have been friends since she was pregnant, so we have watched him grow up, and loved him all of his life. I am buying one of your books for her. Over the years she has been instrumental in helping create resources for kids, and adults with special needs.
Thank you for your work!
