🌸 Projects-in-Progress
1. Last Drop Of A Holy Drink
A book telling the true story of when I accompanied my Mom back to her childhood home in Mexico to visit her sister - her first time there in 42 years.
2. The Autism Mother Letters
A series of 20 letters written to my fellow Moms raising Autistic children accompanied by illustrations and affirmations.
3. Emily Lupita Explores - Creativity Journal
A guided journal for creative reflection featuring a series of my Lupita Portraits paintings from the Emily Lupita Explores - Turkiye series.
4. The Poet’s Daughter
A book about growing up off-grid with my father, America’s Bardic Poet.
5. Autism Brothers Books: The Next Book
The next book in my inclusive book series featuring my two Autistic sons on travel adventures.
6. Long-Sleeved Kimono
A series of 100 Haiku from my studies in Japan with Japanese haiku poet Fukutomi Sensei and accompanying paintings from my Japanese Woodblock “Umeko” Lupita Portrait Series.
7. Lyrical Lupitas
My new Lyrical Lupitas project is a series of Lupita self-portraits created while listening to some of my favorite songs. The titles of the paintings are lyrics from the songs. Can you guess the titles of these works in progress below?
